The First Appointment

No need to worry about that, even if the child is fearful or just anxious. The pediatric dentist (pedodontist) will find the way to “count the teeth and take pictures” if needed for diagnosis. He/she will explain in appropriate language for parent and child the treatment plan and how it can be successfully completed. Emergency treatment may have to start from this appointment. Safety with lead aprons for minimal digital x-ray exposures and with meticulous sterilization procedures comes first.
